I am aggressively noncommittal about my civic duties as a wage earner. I don't feel the need to "enter the workforce" when forcing myself to go to work nearly broke me the last time. I'm in my 40s, for fuck's sake.
I know that this is a problem that helps keep my family in dire financial straits. I know I need to be a grownup about this and just "get a job." An I fully intend to. On my terms.
